Hi There
I was wondering if any of you guys can help me.
Short Story
Im 33 (and english), my g/f is 25 and is american, we have a 5 year old son
together.
We've applied for a Petition for Fiance(e) visa, and Ive just checked the
case status on the egov.gov website, and it says "this case has been
approved", blah blah.
If this matters any, her relatives in the USA are going to sponser me.
This probally matters, but about 10 years ago, I received a caution with the
police, am I right in thinking that if they ask about this, the caution will
have now expired?
I take it now the American embassy in the UK will get in touch with me for a
interview, what happens at these interviews, to say Im pretty nervous now is
a understatement, what type of questions will they ask me, what happens at
the interviews.
Will they approve me there and then, or will I have to wait some more, also
how long after recieving the "case has been approved" will It actually be
until I go for the interview.
Also if they approve me there and then (if they do that), do I have to move
to America right away, or do I get a few months to tidy affairs up
(work,etc)
Thanks for the help, and if it sounds like Im babbling, that is because Im
nervous.
