Default I-94 is not stamped at Port of entry .

Experts..

I have a peculiar situation here. I am going to travel to my home
country in August for a month. Now last year i went to Canada for my
h1B stamping and got it successfully. While returning through Buffalo
border crossing the immigration officer did not stamp my New I-94
(which is there with the I-797 H1b approval) instead stamped the
greyhound tickets (i have kept them too).

Now when i leave US in august which I-94 should i give at the airport.

thanx

If you're leaving to go overseas then you give up all of the I-94s that you have. The I-94 that was attached to your I-797 probably has the same admission number as any other handwritten I-94 (if you have one). Don't submit the greyhound tickets to anyone.

The officer at the port of entry is NEVER, EVER, supposed to place an admission stamp on an I-94 that came with an I-797 approval notice. The dates and visa classification on the bottom left portion of the I-797 contain the information that would normally be stamped so they don't have to write anything on the other half.
