Default I-94 and K3

Is it true that if you have a K3 visa, when you leave the US you should retain your I-94 instead of surrendering it? If so, upon re-entering the US, is it then not necessary to submit a new I-94 at immigration?

Any responses to this issue will be greatly appreciated.

HUH? The K-3 is a two year multiple entry visa. What does that have to do with the I-94? If they ask for it give it to them. Keep track of it. Angela's is stapled into her passport. If your worried make a copy and retain in your files. You will get a new I-94 when you return I do believe.

That's correct. You will get a new I-94 each time you enter the US.

Thank you all for your replies. I have another question to pose along the same line.

Some time ago I read that if multiple entry visa holders, such as K-3, leave the US for less than 30 days there is no need to surrender the I-94. Can anyone confirm?
