Hello,
Request some urgent help with this matter.
Am working on a H1B visa in the US which is valid until Nov 2002. Am currently out of
US on a visit to my home country (India).
As I was leaving the US, my I-94 was not taken by the Airline & I forgot to hand it
over. Noticed it only after reaching India. I immediately contacted the Airline
authorities in India - but they were not sure about the formalities in the US. What
do I do now?
Has anyone gone through this experience before. This was clearly an error & not
intentional in anyway. Does anybody know what I need to say & do at the port of entry
in US. Will I be asked about the old I-94 by the immigration officer when I am
returning back into the US. I am in a great dilemma as to what I need to do.
Awaiting any helpful advice on this.
Thanks.

Re: I-94 issue - Please help !!! .
Do not worry about this I-94 as this was an error. When you enter US, you will be
given a new I-94 and I suggest don't report the old one you already have. SG "sfl"
