Default I-551 and G-731

I had my passport stamped on 11/29/2002 in Boston, MA. Today I went in the DOJ
website and I found a form, G-731, for inquiries on the status of an I-551. It says I
can file if 90 days are past since my adjustment date. More than 90 days are past.

Should I file or this delay is normal?

An answer from people with personal experience with VSC or knowledge [Ingo, Sylvia,
Alavena,...] is greatly appreciated. Sandro

You could file that form, but every time you file a form with INS, you'll be waiting
for an answer forever

If you really want to inquire, call the INS service center.

Realistically, I would suggest you simply wait patiently and don't bother inquiring.
