Hi, hope this isn't a stoopid question.

I'm here on a K-3 visa, and the original I-130 looks like it's around 5 months from approval.

The question is whether there is any reason that I need to file for adjustment of status, or whether I can simply wait for the I-130 to be approved?

Also, we will have been married for two years this Christmas. If we wait until after then for the I-130 or I485 (if necessary) interview, am I right in saying that we will leapfrog the conditional permanent residence?
