Default I-485, I-765 question

I filed for adjustment of status based on marriage on March 2, 2004 in St.
Paul, MN. I concurrently applied for AP and EAD. My four receipt notices all
start with the letters MSC. Does this mean that my entire case is being
processed in Missouri and that I go off the NSC processing times? It would
obviously be advantageous if they were processing our petitions locally in
Minnesota. Is there anything I can do in order to expedite the processing of
my EAD?

Thanks for any input.

Good luck!

We just had all our stuff (I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765) rejected for an
improper I-485 fee, which, contrary to directions, may be $305.

Annnyway ... Al lof our receipts begin with MSC.

We filed in Rhode Island, which now mails the stuff to Chicago. National
Benefits Center? National Processing Center? Something like that.

Apparently we no longer have an option of filing just about anything in
Rhode Island. More information is available on the Boston Web site. It
went from one-day service on I-485 and I-765 to five weeks to get
rejection letters.

I'm not sure I helped you, but, again, good luck. If nothing else, take
your marriage license, get a library card, and try to better yourself as
you wait. It won't hurt to gain or improve your skills.

Don't even bother trying to get it expedited I tried that but all you will get is pure silence.
I have had a job waiting for me to take since just before Christmas, they wanted me to start January/February, so I wrote immigration a letter explaining the situation thinking they may see it from my point of view, rather than me get my work permit and then claim benefits if I could get it sooner I would walk straight into a job and not be a burden to the system. By the way this is a job that noone in the US can do or is anywhere near trained to do before I get bashed by all the anti immigrant people in here.

I filed my EAD in early December and am still waiting right now even though I have had a Washington Senator make inquiries, even she couldn't do anything and said it could take another 30-45 days to get it so I'm going to Charlotte, NC to get an interim EAD as I want to pay my way and not be a burden to society by claiming benefits.

My wife who is a US citizen and I are also expecting our first child we have told immigration this also as we are in desperate need of a second income but as usual we get no reply, I made the mistake of thinking I was dealing with rational human beings but I was very wrong.
If you wait over 90 days which I have just found out today you can apply for an interim EAD which I think allows you to work immediately while your other EAD is being processed.

Otherwise just sit and wait for 90 days and hope it arrives on the 90th day,
I'm sure immigration just think you have money to burn, if your like me you've probably paid over $1000 in fees, medicals etc. I wouldn't recommend the process to anybody and I am sure it is a test to see how strong your marriage is because I know a lot of people who give up on a marriage without going through half as much as we have been through in the time we have been married all because of immigration. If anything it has made us stronger because if we can get through this we can get through anything.

Sit it out and take up a hobby or something to take your mind off it cos you are in for a long wait if you only filed this month.

Receipts starting with MSC are for EAD i-765 only and you can view the
status of that case onlne
https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/js...d=anKLdl4tm8je

MSC doesn't mean Missouri.

the receipt # for I-485 starts with LIN but you might never have it
until few months prior to your interview because if you filed in a
district and not directly to the Nebraska office you will only get an
applicat # that starts with A and you can't do much with it.
