I-131 Advance Parole

Re: I-131 Advance Parole
I received the AP before I left the US.
BTW, I have just received an email from my daughter telling me I have an immigration interview on February 9th. This is all very strange as my EAD was approved on December 12th but I have not yet received the actual card and I have not yet had any biometrics. I remain patient and just see what happens.

The time from application to interview has grown very short these days. This is good news. The green card overrules the EAD.
Don't miss that interview!

Re: I-131 Advance Parole
It just seemed strange to me that I was having an interview about my AOS without first having my biometrics done. However, my daughter re-read the letter and it is my biometrics appointment NOT an interview.

Re: I-131 Advance Parole
Update: Arrived back at JFK PoE. The CBPO took my passport and documentation and finger prints on the scanner. She then escorted me to the secondary interview area where I was asked 2 questions only, to confirm my parents first names. My advance parole documentation and passport were stamped and I was all finished in about 15 minutes. As a side note.... this was my personal experience and interested readers, that are considering travel under advance parole, may have different experiences.
