I see. A lot of lawyers seem to recommend that. People do it that way sometimes, yes. That doesn't make it the legal, proper way to immigrate, and I personally don't recommend it. There can be severe consequences if the AOS gets denied, your parents can be sent back to Russia with a ban from returning to the USA.

So the MUCH safer and legal route to take would be the Immigrant Visa route.
