Just wanted to verify what I was told, because I'm not sure the woman I talked to entirely understood what I was asking -- how far in advance are appointments booked? I was told that there is no wait, which seems altogether too convenient compared to the rest of this process. Which is why I'm checking up

Can't make the appointment without the packet from Montreal, though, can I? Need a form with that MTL case number...

You can't make an appointment without the letter from Montreal with
you MTL case number. They will look at it.

I spoke to them last week - they need your case number to record on your x-rays etc. I tried to get an appointment as well - to get a headstart on my packet 3 (that I HOPE will come in the next month) but the nurse assured me that it was very easy to book and that the service is same day at a cost of $185.00CDN. She said you can book a week before without an issue. They schedule appointments Mon Tues and Wed mornings for the US Immigrant Visa related examinations.
