Default How long to receive the real green card?

Hi There,

My I-485 was approved in June 2002 and I already had my passport stamped at
that time. The stamp says it is valid for 1 year. It's been almost six
months since then. But I have not received the real GC card in my mail box.
Is there any one out there know how long it usually take?

Thanks,

Alan

The time frame is extremely variable, some people got it after just a
month or two, for others it took well over a year. Mine took almost
exactly six months.

If it takes more than a year, simply go to the INS office and have them
put another stamp in your passport.
