Somebody could please help me with the following questions? Facts:
1. I am on an H1B, which I got while in the US on a J1 visa.
2. I haven't been outside the US so I don't have the H1B stamped on the passport yet
(and the J1 is expired).
3. I just won the DV-2003 green card lottery.

Now suppose that:
4. I send in the form for consular processing of the green card application now,
5. I travel outside the US before the interview at the consulate in my country.

Question: Will they stamp me the H1B visa, or are there problems since I have a green
card application pending?

Two more questions: 1. if I travel outside the US only at the time of the interview,
but for some reason the green card is denied, will they still stamp the H1B visa? 2.
And if the GC is granted, how soon can I come back to the US?
