When did they file the I-140?, as whilst they are under no obligation to tell USCIS you will essentially be praying for no RFE for either the I-485 or I-140 as at that point its all over....again technically its tricky as the GC position is for the future position......
get a lawyers opinion ASAP.
best option that I see is to get a xfer within the company and go from there!

Just an update.
Still no news on the i140 or i485. However, hubby has managed to secure a job with the same company same kind of position so we don't have to leave. We do however have to relocate in two weeks time!

Congratulations on hubby finding a new position even if it does mean a relocation, meanwhile your GC application wheels will continue to grind ever so slowly through the USCIS mill.
