My fiancee is a Canadian citizen and myself a US citizen. He is currently in Germany
on a work visa and we want to file for a fiancee visa. Can we have the paperwork sent
to Germany since that's where is is working right now?

Any help would be much appreciated! : )

At qestion 20 on the I129F (rev. 10/6/00) it states: "Designation of a consulate
outside the country of your fiance(e)'s last residence does not guarantee acceptance
for processing by that consulate. Acceptance is at the discretion of the designated
consulate." In reading this I would say your best bet is to contact the US consulate
in Germany and ask if they will process this case. Best of Luck Kelly

Yes, when you file the I-129F you put on there were you want the approved petition to
be sent to.

Thank you so much for responding. You all have been a great help in us getting
organized for this whole process. We plan to file in August and I will keep you all
posted as to our timeline. Thanks Again! : )

However, Germany seems to be this guy's residence - maybe not his country of
citizenship, but of residence.

Is he actually living there? How long has he been there for?
