In my last interview back in April 2006, I brought with me:
original copy of all documents in case they want to see them, then taxes for
the last 5 years - they only asking for 3 years but I gave them 5 years, a
copy traffic ticket that paid in full, attachment for additional travel (if
you have) including my old plane tickets/boarding passes, my foreign
passport, copy of the last 3 payroll checks. Again the only three things
that they took from me were: taxes, traffic ticket, and additional travel
note.

Oh yeah.... don't forget you can not bring any cell phone that has any build
in camera on it. You have to leave it outside the buiding. Leave the cell
phone in your car. In Phoenix, the interview place is different than the
regular INS office so make sure you go to the right address. Yes, in Phoenix
it is in the shopping store complex, and of course I got lost

Just the usual, take everything along, arrive in plenty of time. I'm sure you will be just dandy!

A friend of mine had his in Columbus a few weeks ago. He said it was a more relaxed (or so it felt) interview compared to the 485 AOS one, and that the interviewer didnt seem to be looking for problems with the case.. he has his ceremony a few weeks later, and suffered no ill effects!

Do you know how long did it take for your friend to receive the interview letter after fingerprints? I had my fingerprints in Columbus on 08/03/06.

N400 receipt - Feb
Fingerprints - April
Interview - May
Ceremony - July

My interview is scheduled for 01/12/07 in Columbus, OH. I was stuck in name check for 3.5 months. Here is my time line.
