H4 for wife
Hi all
I need a little attention from all of you. I got married over the telephone last month. I am working here in USA on H1 visa since 2002. Now what should be the next step to follow for her to apply for H4 visa back home. Do I need to register my marriage here as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe telephone marriages are valid. You'll need something
more concrete, perhaps a wedding photograph, or a marriage certificate,
or both.

Actually, I believe proxy marriages aren't all that uncommon in Meh's native country...I think his only problem would be in obtaining the marriage certificate to show immigration. I wouldn't have a clue how to go about doing that!
