Ok its gone RFE. I am still reluctant to get a letter from my boss. What companies access the information to prove its degree equivalent experience I have?

You're going to need the info.

And whoever the lawyer uses to check the qualifications against equivalents, WES is one of the popular ones, but ask them.

Ok thanks. One more thing does the letter need to be from human resources department or my boss?

Mine was signed off by my boss and HR. It must show progression in your area of expertise.

Thanks.

The lawyer has asked for the experience letter and award certificates, pay records, performance evaluation and any other documents relating to his speciality, reflecting promotion or progressively responsible positions.

I am currently in a mangerial position as such. My previous job was a junior position for 4 years whilst I did a ONC and HNC one day a week.
You should include any mention of other qualifications you have. When your experience, etc., is assessed they may be able to take those into account: a university (probably) will make an assessment of everything you have done and state whether or not you have the equivalent of an American degree.

Make sure the letters of reference you get are quite detailed.

Thanks. I have been in this job for 13 years but have progressed and can show wage slips with reflecting promotions. I have also mentioned I work with people with degrees.

I suggest that other people's qualifications are irrelevant. What might be relevant is if you do the same job as those "people with degrees" and if those "people with degrees" consult you as to how to better do their job!

Good luck to you!
