H1B: new petition vs transfer

Both company A and B filed H1B petition for me before I came US, and I joined A which
got approved first. Now I want to change to work for B, the H1B petition from which
haven't been approved yet, and it may take another 3 months to be approved.

Under this situation, I have the following questions:

1. Can I straight away quit A and start to work for B, as if the petition from B is a
petition for transfer, although it actually is a NEW petition.

2. Can I ask B to file a petiton for transfer? Does the NEW petition from B need to
be revoked before they can file a transfer?

3. As a last solution, I'm thinking of waiting for the approval for the petition for
B, go canada to apply the visa, and reenter US with the approval and visa for the
new petition. Any advice on this?

Thank you very much for all suggestions, Tom
