Arrow H1B first time -Canada?

Hello,

I'm already on the E-3 visa trying to convert it to the H1B; can I just fly out to Canada or I'd have to head back home to get this done in Melbourne?

I understand this is possible to "renew" a visa but how about first time stamping?

Thanks

While Canada is not obligated to process your H-1B, it can if it wants to. As long as you understand there's no obligation on Canada's part, you're welcome to try... reports from others seem to indicate success in doing this.
