Hi,

While one is working full-time on H1B, can he take up additional contracting works
(by setting up a company) with various parties without having additional H1B's for
these works ?

Any precaution he needs to take ?

Thanks.

No. You can, however, start your own company and have that company sponsor you for an
H-1B. As long as your contracts are all in the field that this H-1B covers, and in the
same geographic area, you can do it.

Do be sure to use an attorney; such self-sponsored H-1Bs are scrutinized closely by INS.
