h-4 expired
Here is Situation
Husband's H4 expired in 1st Feb. '07 (forgot to renew along with wife's H1). Wife's H1 was renewed and is still active. Is Husband out of status (I suppose so?) If so what are the alternatives of getting back in status and/or visiting home country and coming back without problems? Could she try for another H4 from the home country based on husband's H1? Risks? Please advice or share experiences. Thanks |

Thanks Apply for H4 for him and explain that you forgot to renew it in a cover letter as soon as you can. No problem. |

Thanks 2 your wife can file H4 extension (take the help of lawyer) (the risk is if H4 extension is denied then he may be out of status more than 6 months and 3-10 bar will start) 3 best option go out of US , get H4 visa based on spouse H1 and then reenter on H4 status. |
