Hello.

My wife applied for her H-1B visa long time ago, but we haven't heard about the
decision from INS yet. Should we contact INS and ask about the status of her file? If
so, what would be the most effective way to do that? Phone, Fax or Mail?

We sent her application to Nebraska office and we have her LIN number. If we need to
phone or fax, does anybody know the numbers?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are running out of our patience.

Thanks.

regards, Jonghyun Lee

I heard that contacting the INS could jeopardise your case. Its a long and painful
wait and thousands of us are in the same situation. Many people who filed in CSC
beginning of January are still waiting.

you should be able to enquire using the automatic phone system and your case number
(ask your attourney about this) but do not wait to speak to an officer.

regards and hang in there
