From Laguna Niguel Service Center. Arrived in the States on an Immigration
Visa on November 17th, received the 'Welcome to the United States' letter
yesterday and the Greencard today. Hmmmm, it's not green :-)

Congratulations. What was your port of entry? My wife entered on Dec 8 via SFO, so we have just started our wait to receive the green card from Laguna Niguel.

Hello, all!!
Yesterday I called Missouri Service Center and I knew the message changed.
It is like as follows;
"On Jan 04, 2003 We mailed notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case.
The notice explained detail what additional material is needed.............."
The problem is my husband moved to different apartmeant Jan 06, 2003 and he afraid missed it.
And he called INS but they don't have any idea.
I feel a little nervous.
We received NOA 1 from MSC : Oct 04, 2003
waited NOA 2 almost 100 days.
Anybody knows about this??
Help me!!

Doh! I've been reading this board long enough I should have known to put my
POE. I came in via LAX.

Congratulations. If you look closely you'll see the INS never calls it a
Greencard anymore - a long time throwback. At one point the INS website did
have an interesting little article about it's evolution, showing the
different cards issued along the years. Yes, the first one was green!
