I have mental hospital records in the USA before when i was there on Work & TRavel program - would that be a problem if i apply for a green card won by the green card lottery ?

Depends on what they say...

There is a medical criteria that must be met.

I would expect that if you still have the mental issues on the report, and if those mental issues are in the list of things that make you ineligible to become PR holder, then that would not be good. (Not so much the report, but what it means to your current health)

You can search for the medical evaluation form to get an idea of potential issues.

It's OK if you are cured too. Paul may have been "lunatic" then, but he's fine now. Paul Qualifies. (Paul is made up)

I have been in perfect health since then. It was just a nervous break down.I`m just wondering will those medical records in the past matters if i`m fine now .

It is an issue that should be addressed. You might want to consider prophylactic measures so you can satisfy the Knightsbridge docs you are fine without a further referral.

JeenyJ - Are you saying you got notification of being selected in this year's diversity lottery? You should be aware that the results of the lottery have been nullified and they are going to re-do it in July.
