Default !!Got Laid Off, But GC processing!! Status ? - URGENT

Hey Folks

I got laid off two months back from company X.

But I had my green card processing being from the company X with the BCIS (f.k.a INS). I went thro' the first two stages and my final stage (i.e. I-485/765/131) was fill on sep 2001 i.e. almost a year 1 year and 6 months back for me and my wife.

*) I got my 1st EAD which got expired and i have applied for renewal and yet to get the 2nd EAD.
*) I went for FP on oct 31st of 2002.

So what is my current status? Am i in vaild status?

Do i need to transfer my h1b if my company X cancels its h1b.

So what is the step need to be take so that I and my wife will be a valid status OR nothing required, i am in vaild status untill decision is being made.

Please advice.

Thanks and Regards

You're already in a mess ... go talk to an immigration attorney.
