Got it!!! I-751 Approval Nebraska
Hi all,
After having submitted my original I-751 application on March 20 to the
NSC, I received a letter asking for my original greencard and pictures
a few weeks after. I sent in the card along with some more recent
evidence and guess what? Even with an address change written by me on
the letter asking for the new card. Today in my mailbox the new 10-year
card attached to the approval "letter".
So it seems that in my case the timeline website is right on time.
August 3 states treating cases from March 13, so today (August 12)
would be treating cases from March 22. Right on time!!!
So this is just a heads-up for all the people anxiously awaiting news
from Nebraska. Thanks everybody for all your help and up to the N400
app! :-)

Re: Got it!!! I-751 Approval Nebraska
Congratulations!
I am just "starting" the process... my current "conditional permanent
recidence" expires in Jan. 2007.
I was looking at the dates for Nebraska and noticed that they are 5
months behind, so I was wondering if I should submit my documents
perhaps a little earlier, say Sept. instead of October.
I know one is suppose to apply 90 days before the expiration date,
since they are delayed they will get to my application 60 days after
expiration date anyway.
What do you think?
Thanks,
Jose

Re: Got it!!! I-751 Approval Nebraska
I dont think it works that way, you have to file your I-751 within 90-day window, not earlier than that, they'll send it back (from what i read here)

The posted timelines at uscis.gov mean only what they say, specifically. It doesn't mean the the SC is '5 months behind' or that some projected future date will be accurate if based on the info posted.
All you can do about it is follow the instructions and file when and where instructed. I-751s can take anywhere from 3-18 months to be decided.

Re: Got it!!! I-751 Approval Nebraska
Hi,
I got the letter asking for my original GC and pictures in February and sent it back right away, but I am still waiting.
Tomorrow I have an info pass appointment to get my new passport stamped, so I am going to find out how come I have not my new GC yet. DO you guys think that it could get lost in mail or so? Will they even know if it was sent out already or not?
