Default Got Approved!

Hi, some people here knows my story about my visa saga. Just a quick flashback:

November 2000 Me and my husband met online.

September 2001 My husband went to Philippines

April 2002 Filed 129-F and he moved to Philippines and lived with me.

September 2002, bought a plane ticket to Costa Rica and got the Notice of Action at the same day we were moving.

October 2002 Transferred the case from Philippines to Costa Rica. The Immigration and the U.S. Embassy can't find my files.

January 2005 The U.S. Embassy in Costa Rica gave me a tourist visa within 24 hours.

January 21, 2005 Got to the U.S. with no problem.

June 8, 2005 Got married.

June 1, 2006 Filed the petition. (We waited cause we did not have enough money, and we hired an attorney).

July 3, 2006 Got my biometrics.

August 1, 2006 Had my interview and got approved! It was really easy, not a lot of questions, we told them our story but we had to lie that I just went to visit and not to get married here. Our attorney advice that. We showed some pictures, and just emails from six years ago. That was it, they will send my green card after 20-30 days!

The whole process for my green card took two months but we have been working for this for five years.

Big mistake, in my opinion. But congrats on getting your GC. Hope it never gets revoked for some reason.

Best Wishes,
Rene

Yah... this is exactly the wrong thing to post in a public newsgroup. It is widely rumored that USCIS employees read this forum... and, even if they don't, telling folks that you deliberately and willfully lied to an immigration official... well, that just isn't a good idea.
