GoodBye Texas Stadium

Re: GoodBye Texas Stadium
Used to drive past that twice a day on the way to and from work in Las Colinas... would always have to keep an eye on the Monday night football schedule to make sure I didn't get stuck in traffic.

You should come down to tail gate party at a Cowboys game, I have never seen such dedicated fans...they are pretty crazy down here!

Re: GoodBye Texas Stadium
The Monday morning attitude of the whole place is completely predicated by a win or loss on Sunday. I SHIT YOU NOT.
If Dallas wins, people are nicer, retail sales are brisker and there is an ever so slight positive shift in the entire traffic matrix.
If they lose, we're all ****ed for at least a week.
I don't even like football but I always root for the Cowboys for the sake of my own personal survival.

I heard that the Cheese heads are some of the most dedicated fans (i.e. they will travel around the states to more away games than most teams)...
but the Cowboys are like the "Man Utd" of the NFL...where you will see Win Yip local pheasant boy in outer mongolia wearing a Emmett Smith jersey.
Leslie, your so correct, all day yesterday and this morning all your hear on the radio and T.V. is about the Cowboys, it completely changes peoples moods.....I think we have 3 - radio stations now that talk Dallas sports 24hours a day.

I'm sure Wisconsin is a lovely state, I haven't had the pleasure of visiting it although I do have some friends there. Anyway, think about it, if you lived in Wisconsin and had the opportunity to leave the state, if only for a weekend this time of year, wouldn't you?
