Default GoodBye Texas Stadium

Saturday night will be the last ever game for the Cowboys at Texas Stadium in Irving... good riddance if you ask me, the bloody roof looked like a patchwork quilt. I never understood why someone who had Billions could afford to paint the roof in one color ???

All Jerry Jones had to do was bring a bunch of scousers over and pay them a case of beer a 20 benson & hedges to paint it and it would of looked good for another 30 years!

Farewell to that huge steaming pile of sh*t. It will be sadly missed by me - it was a reliable indicator that I was lost, and in a crappy part of town where I had not business being.

lol....yep many a time when I first moved over getting lost between loop 12, 183 and all the other crossroads, did the stadium act as a beacon of "Oh shit, where's the 9mm"...

Have you drove past the new stadium yet....fricken unreal.

If it's in Dallas, then I too got lost on my way to Houston.
What a nightmare those roads were.

I believe the Arlington and mid city residents are footing most of the tax bill!

So if you live in Arlington, your paying for Texas Rangers Ball park and the new multi-billion Cowboys stadium...that must suck.

Yeah especially since that pig-dog Jerry Jones has turned extortionist and nobody can afford season tickets except corporate sponsors. Wanker.

I was thinking Karl Rove, but maybe they only make evil that bad once in a thousand years.

Hi:

Who cares about the NFL anymore? The Los Angeles area hasn't had an NFL franchise in 14 years -- and most people really don't care.

The only NFL team in New York state plays in Buffalo! In contrast, New Jersey has not one, but two teams!

Going by revenue, most sports fans do.
Plus, your point about the Bills is valid although even they will be playing a lot more games outside NY State in the future (Toronto, eh?).

You're more than welcome to have either the Rams or the Raiders back. On 2nd thoughts, you could pick up the Lions for a song. A sad song obviously.
