giving back the I-94 departure record?
Quick Question ...i have an I-94 departure record and i am planning on leaving the US after 1 month (it is valid for 6 months). If i plan to re-enter the US within the next 30 days, do i need to surrender it when leaving? And i will get a new one upon re-entry? Or can i use the same one if i plan to re-enter?

Depends on where you're going. If you're going outside of territories
contiguous with the USA, then you have to give it back (in fact, the
airline will take it from you).

In that case, you can hold on to the I-94 for this trip.
When you leave for good, be sure to surrender the I-94 to Canadian
immigration officials (or the airline if you are flying) - they usually
don't take the I-94 from you.
