Due to the seeming 'open border' with Mexico, California has been invaded by
millions of illegal aliens. These illegal aliens are bankrupting
California's health care system.

You're quite right about that. Anything written by the ACLU always has a
pro-communist slant as well. People must remember the ACLU is the
organisation defending NAMBLA in America (the North American Man-Boy Love
Association). This should be all anyone needs to know about the ACLU.

I contend that it is so rare to be considered a ludicrous concept. The states often implement many of these social and welfare programs and the states don't verify immigration status very well. When was the last time a child was turned away from a public school because they didn't have lawful status to be in the US?

The myth is that they can't and aren't using these publicly funded assistance programs, public schools, and medical treatment. Tourists come on B2 visas to have children here for free. Check out birthinusa.com. If you could read Korean, you'd see that it's a how-to web site to come to the US and use the free medical to have their baby. Who do you think is paying for these births?
I don't know anybody who has been sued for anything period. Tourists who come here on B2 visas to have kids are breaking every rule in the book, they will get barred for 10 years etc if found out. At the end of the day, my wife has signed many legal documents that makes her responsible for me. If I claim medicaid or food stamps they ask the money back from her, if she doesn't pay then I get booted out of the country. It's very simple, very clear and it is enforced. There is a lot of crap about immigrants (especially illegal ones) coming here and stealing american benefits. I pay my taxes the same as everyone else, I don't have the right to vote and I don't have access to any social welfare programs until I become a naturalized citizen. The system is set up like this to assuage people fears about immigrants coming to America to steal jobs, taxes etc.
I don't read Korean, so I don't understand what that website is for. The problem is the same for a lot of countries, if you were american and you went to england and needed emergency hospital treatment you could wander into any hospital or A&E and get it free.
If you've ever been through American airports as a tourist they ask you a hell of a lot of questions, if you looked like you were about to give birth they would have something to say. Added to this air travel is extremely unsafe for pregnant women after a certain time.

The ACLU is pro communist?
illegal immigrants are taking over the country and are responsible for 95% of the crime?
The ACLU is sponsored by a peadophile organization?

okay posters, This thread was actually started about a completely different issue. I refuse to debate such rubbish. If you think the ACLU are communist peadophiles then I really can't respect your views or rely on the information you've given.
As for illegal immigrants, must EVERY thread turn into a discussion.
Mods, please close this thread.

I'm sorry, but if you believe that then you better keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny next week. Show me someone who has been booted out for it? Why aren't they on this message board? They must be hiding.

"The system is set up like this to assuage people fears about immigrants coming to America to steal jobs, taxes etc."

It's all smoke and mirrors. One out of six students in the California's public school system have illegal parents. I don't see anyone booting them out of anything.
