Future problem for denied SSN???

A Mexican friend made a mistake in the past. She was illegally in
California where she had a baby. While there she applied for a Social
Security card using a false birth certificate (for herself, not the
baby). The Social Security Administration denied the application for
the same reason. The friend returned to Mexico of her own accord with
her child. She was there less than 6 months. Now she wishes to marry
an American citizen. They are in love and will live in Mexico for a
few years. This is not a false marriage for immigration purposes.
They need to know what consequences there may be in the future because
of the issue with Social Security. The false birth certificate was
not used for anything else. Anyone have advice or information on how
this will affect future immigration issues? Many thanks in advance.
