Thank you guys. Since the flights already have been booked and bf didn't want to travel on my expenses, it seems like I will take the trip over the Atlantic in September. Hopefully, everything will go as planned! Can't wait to travel around Texas. So much to see and do

You seem to be asking the wrong question. You have not visited frequently, just for a long time.

By way of example the most visa waiver entires I have seen in a UK passport in 1 calendar year is 17, of which most were WB (Waiver Business), these were all short trips, often 2/3 days.

You are looking more at the length of time you want to spend in the US. That said every entry is another possible denial so even frequent short trips could be seen in a bad light.

Good luck,

Another question guys: should I bring any evidence of my ties to Norway? If yes, what? Insurance, bank statements, the lease document? The problem is, however, that the documents are in my native language. But I think I could get my employee to state something in English if necessary

Al letter from your employer stating your holiday dates would be a good start.

A lease is, by nature, temporary - certainly, more temporary than employment or a mortgage. Just sayin'...

Surely that depends on the nature of your employment?

Quite right... I should have been more specific. I was thinking about full-time employment as opposed to part-time or seasonal employment.

Or you could be employed full time on a temporary contract...

From what the OP has said, it sounds like she is in part-time permanent employment, so perhaps her lease could be useful (in combination with an employer's letter) in persuading CBP of the strength of her ties.

Even full-time permanent employment *can* be got out of quite quickly, though, sometimes just as quickly as a lease. Indeed, depending on the contract conditions, sometimes a longer notice period is required to give up a lease.

I don't disagree... but consider (from the CBP officer's point of view) that if someone is planning to live in another country, why should they care about breaking their lease?

By the same logic, why would they care about leaving their job?
