Hi All
I wrote on here about 3 weeks ago, saying that i had my citizenship interview coming up -- but i could only find 1 of my 2 previous passports and that my green card had expired.

I had my interview today, got 6/6 on the civics test - no issues at all with my passport or green card, after living here 14 years i am now a USC!!

I started talking on this site around 14 or 15 years ago and got advice for my K1 application - thank you all........for everything

It wasn't even mentioned, he asked in a joking way - how come i took so long to apply but never even brought it up

You didn't mention it and everyone is congratulating you on becoming a USC yesterday BUT you didn't say you had the oath ceremony, only that you passed the test and interview.

Inasmuch as many locations have same day oath administration, I read it as implying by necessity that the oath had been administered.

I had my interview and same-day oath recently. My passport never even made it out of my bag during the whole event. The only thing I had to hold up to the camera (it was done via Zoom) was my green card and the written answers to the questions.

yes, oath ceremony was about 20 minutes after the interview, they used the same biometrics from my green card, so the photo on the certificate looks flattering lol
