Fantastic Vermont Timeline!!!!!
I would like to start by apologising to those who have to go through the really
slow service centers but I am delighted to share my timeline with those about
to go through Vermont....we mailed our I-129F on 24 April, got the first NOA
last Friday (it was dated 30 April) which said the processing should take
between 30-45 days, but I just checked our case on line and we have been
approved!!!!! Only 18 days total for approval!!!! I am absolutely stunned!!!!
I hope this gives reassurance to some people although I'm sure it really
pisses some people off...if it's any consolation I am not usually this lucky
and I'm neither rich nor beautiful. Good luck everyone!!!

Cogratulations to you... I mailed mine a few days after you and would love for an approval that quick, although I do have a lot of sympathy for people that are forced to go through the other service centres for where they live. There really shouldnt be as much of a difference between the timescales across the service centres

Sounds fantastic and we have yet to file but it gives me encouragement as we will be using Vermont too. However, you have approval - does that mean you have the visa stamped in your passport yet or have you still to go through the medical and interview process?

Of course all of this varies depending on the consulate. A lot of people here have worked with the consulate in London (i think this is what consulate you said) so they can help you out with that timeline.
Good luck to you!

Right Duckie!!!!!
For a start I think the title of my posting gave intelligent people a good idea
as to what it might be about and no-one was forced to look! I personally would
have been pleased to see something this hopeful if I was about to mail off my
petition to Vermont, and that's why I posted it!
And where exactly was I "dishonest" in telling people "that they got a fast
service center", I didn't give any guarentees I just gave my own experience,
which I assure you was entirely honest!!!
You comment that "if you look further in the process...VSC does not look that
good", well as far as I know my forms get sent to New Hampshire then to my
embassy, and I don't believe VSC is my local BCIS office - sorry to disappoint
you...

I'm someone that went through NSC and got approved in about 135 days. While I'm happy how things worked our for you...I really hate that their is such a big difference in service centers.
But, that's life. I wish you luck rest of the way.

Congratualtions to you !!!! I said this even being abgry a little bit and sad that there is so large difference between approvals between service centers. I wish there was some balance in their work.
I think Duckie right was about great amount of workers and it causes slow work on K1 Visas..... Unfortunately.
