Hello,
I am currently traveling through the US on a 90 day visa waiver. I
want to stay for another two months after this period ends in late
June. I know I can't just go to Canada or Mexico and get another visa
waiver period, so what are my options? I am an Australian citizen, but
can I go to Montreal, say, and apply for a visitor's visa from there,
and then re-enter? And how long would this take? Going back to
Australia is not really an option. Any advice greatly appreciated!
Many thanks
Pete

US consulates are usually very reluctant to issue new visas to third-party
nationals.
On a visa waiver you really do not have any options, apart from trying to
get another 90 days by leaving an re-entering the US, which is more than
likely not going to work.

Thanks Jozef. One of the first decent responses I've received!
