Hello everyone,
If somebody could help me on a concern I have about the I129 F. I was approved by the
TSC, and almost immediately received the packet 3 from the consulate in Naples,
Italy. I collected all the necessary documentations and sent in the OF-230 I
(Immigrant Visa Application Part 1) to the consulate to initiate the processing.
Shortly after I have sent the DSL1067 (basically the checklist stating that I
acquired all the documentation) so Naples could schedule an interview.
My enquiry is that my I129F expires on the 20th of June, what happens if the
interview is scheduled after that date? And/or what would happen if the consulate
does not schedule anything yet and 20th of June passes by.
Thank you very much for anybody who is willing to answer and help me.
Ciao, alyspy

Someone who went through Naples informed me that they are very slow. I think I saw
some info at this location regarding a letter of intent. After entry, click the "K-1
fiance visa" link and then when you are on the k-1 pages, the "after approval" link:
http://www.mindspring.com/~docsteen/...o/visainfo.htm
alvena I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice, this is a pointer to resources
and is to be used for the purpose of discussion.

Im that case the U.S. Consulate will probably revalidate the petition.
Your Visa will have an additional note, something like:
Expiry Date 20 Jun 2001
K-Petition Revalidated To 20 Sep 20. 2001
Valid to Dec 20. 2001

I can please only one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow isn't looking
good, either.
