EB5 interview
Can anyone tell what notice you get for your interview at the embassy in London?

If so, they will set your interview. There is usually a 1-2 month advance notice. |

Hi! Yes, we filed ours a couple of months ago. Our lawyer said they are trying to get all the EB-5 cases through before the sunset date of March the 6th. The state department wants everyone to cross the border immediately upon receiving their temporary green card. They are quite concerned about the future of the program past the sunset date.

Re: EB5 interview
Thanks for the info Beachbound.
I filed in Sept 08 and I doubt if our files will be processed by the March date. I am hoping sanity will prevail and the job creation aspect in a recession will win the debate for a further extension. Fingers crossed. |
Re: EB5 interview
We had our medicals done last week in Vancouver. It took about 3 1/2 hours and it was run very efficiently. There's isn't much to it, blood test, chest x-ray and very superficial physical exam. We arrive in Montreal on Tuesday to give us a day or two to deal with jet lag and time zone changes especially when travelling with a 3-year old and 6-year old! Good luck to you too!

Yes our lawyer said the same thing. We were just surprised when the call came in as we had not sent in our DS-230 forms yet. Are you having your medicals in Montreal before your interview? We are arriving in Montreal on Monday night and have our medicals on Tuesday morning.
Good luck! |

We were amazed that it all went so well considering we were an expedited case and had not filed our DS-230 forms and supporting documents prior to arriving at the interview on Friday. Very impressed with the US Consulate in Montreal. |
Re: EB5 interview
I only received two weeks notice for the interview in London. Luckily managed to get the medical done in time.

Hi. We invested in the 1501 LP by American Life and our petition was filed in September, 2008. It's still pending at Californai center. Dose any one receive approval notice recently?

Re: EB5 interview
Hi!
We filed our petition with American Life on Sept. 3rd 2008 with Lincoln Stone. Just checked today the processing times and the USCIS website says 6 months. We should be close...I hope so! |
