Eb2 greencard questions

The company is looking into putting us onto an EB2 greencard. Does anyone have any vague idea how long they take? They say current but is that like 2 weeks, 6 months or 12 months?
What are the chances of getting one and do you need an actual masters or can they do it based on 20 years in the industry?

I don't know how long they take at this point in time or whether not having a Masters will be an issue. My OH doesn't have a Masters and has 28 years in his profession and we are stuck in EB3, so I have no clue. I'm sure someone else will be along to give you much clearer information

Re: Eb2 greencard questions

Hi all,

I just came across this thread...sorry for delay in replying. I could write a book on this topic!

I am a Brit with BSc who has spent last 5 years struggling with this EB2/EB3 conundrum... I persuaded an employer's attorney that I met criteria for EB2 after YEARS of 'arguing the toss' and getting a different Attorney to actually file under EB2 and getting an approved Labor Cert/I-140...now we are finally in AOS (EB2).

Basically if you can prove that you have BSc and 5 years PROGRESSIVE experience in your field AND the job usually requires a Masters degree then you will be able to proceed with EB2.

Timeline: around 8-16 months (very rough guide)

Good Luck :)
