Earnings proof for self employed in UK for H1B Visa
Hi All,
I have got my H1 B approved and have booked a visa interview date with US Embassy in London.I am working in UK for the last 2 years.I work here as self-employed IT engineer doing contracts at client sites.
In order to provide the last 6 month Pay slips, what would be best form of evidence as i dont get a pay slip.My accountant just sends me a copy of how much i take after tax.So will the bank statements from the company and the my personal bank statements be enough or do i need to get a letter from the account.
Your help will be much appreciated.
Thanks

I don't understand; to whom do you want to provide your last 6 months
pay slips, and why?

Why? Who said so? Has a Consular officer asked you for this?

Since this isn't a normal requirement, you'll need to ask whoever's
requiring it.

I got a H1 last summer, and had to do no such thing.
I don't think they even asked me how long I had been an employee (of the UK
company).
They did ask me how much work experience I had, what skills I used and what
skills my new (US) job would require ... but if I recall correctly, I was
never asked about proof of employment (in the UK).
Have you received the I-797 and Interview confirmation letters yet? They
will tell you what you need to take with you?
