Are EADs coming sooner than 30 days after notice of production?
The EAD just showed up online as being ordered up today!!!
They say: On October 17, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.
Will it really take 30 more days or are people getting them sooner?

- Original 1765 received on 7/25 and notice date was 8/29 (this didn't appear on the uscis site until yesterday)
- Biometrics taken on 9/4 in Milwaukee
- 10/17 EAD ordered

You don't trust their statement it will be less than 30 days, eh? They usually do come pretty quickly. My understanding is that the software that generates the notice also starts the production. Do remember that they do have your picture and biometrics in electronic format now.
