Anyway supplying evidence is part of the process so they are obviously doing something wrong.

I think what people are trying to say is that it doesn't cost anything to TRY expediting, maybe it works, maybe not, there's never a guarantee anyway.

Exactly. No point having a defeatist attitude. My expedite was done under the Trump gov also.

I understand that. I just think unfortunately in this instance the forum is guilty of giving people misleading advice and false hope by dangling the prospect of expedites based on outdated information.

There is obviously no harm in trying to expedite based on a job offer. Just be aware that the current guidance is that a job offer is not sufficient for an expedite, so you would be wise to find further evidence of an emergent need.

To my knowledge it has never been possible to expedite just on the basis of a job offer.
