EAD processing times - chicago

i notice in the latest AILA processing times report (see
http://members.aol.com/MDUdall/instimes.htm) that the EAD times for chicago have
"dropped" significantly from 120 days to 61 days. has anyone had any recent EAD
experiences in Chicago? if so, how long did your EAD take to process. thanks in
advance....

my friend's timeline: april 12, 2001 - sent EAD renewal form to Chicago may 22, 2001
- received letter-appointment for June 7 so, less than 60 days. lk
