i think i asked this before but i forgot what the answer was

ok, i got the EAD card for my wife and now what is the next step?

at 1st i wanted to go with my wife to take the picture in the INS office but the officer
said i can only wait outside. but little does he know my wife don't speak English and he
didn't want to hear anything i wanted to ask him. so because of his non-understanding for
others i don't know what is next. they did say what was the next step to my wife twice but
again she don't speak english.

you know, it's sooooooo hard to find out information from them INS officers. if they
happen to answer you they answer your question rude and they expect you to know everything
about these messy paperwork. i don't know, if those INS officers don't like the job
dealing with foreigners then why did they get that job? why did they go into that field of
work if they hate their jobs so much???? this job requires them to help others not make
them feel uncomfortable and etc...

thank you for listening.... (whew! i had to let some heat out)

EAD stands for Employment Authorization Document. Getting a social security number and
coming up with a job offer, in that sequence are usually the two next steps. Are you OK at
aol ? A few other aol people seem to have trouble.

They will send you a letter telling you to come in for finger printing. Yes the next step
is the AOS interview - which could be years from now. The finger printing will come before
the interview. You will get a letter telling you the interview date.
