Default E2 and fiancé visa

Hi all,

Apologies in advance if this has already been covered, I could not find anything exact to my query - but I'm currently living and working in the US on an E2 VISA, my fiancé would like to move over and work here - is there a specific VISA she should be looking to apply for?

Thanks in advance.

Since it seems neither of you is a USC, I'm going to move your thread to the immigration forum.

After marriage, your wife will apply for an E-2 visa as your dependent.

As implied by Noorah, above, unless your fiancée qualifies for a work visa (BTW "VISA" is a brand of credit card ) in her own right, then first she will need a marriage certificate before she can apply for a derivate E-2 visa, where "derivative" means linked to/dependent on the E-2 visa that you already hold.

As your betrothed, no.

As your wife, she can get a derivative E2.
