E2/E2 Spouse Visa Interview

Hi all

Both myself and my wife have our E Visa interview at London embassy on the 15th. Can anyone who has done this advise on what the interview structure is like, what questions are asked and specifically what questions will be asked to my wife?

Any previous experience advise would be great

Thanks

There is a handy "search" feature located near the top right of each page. Such questions have been answered many times, so you shouldn't have a problem finding them.

On the assumption that you're the principal on the E-2, they likely won't ask her any questions because she'll be getting a derivative visa.

Hi Ageofpatels

Everyone's experience is different, from what I was told and having other colleagues going through this process. My experience was fairly intense. The immigration officer went in to great detail about my job, my role, day to day aspects, my company and their background. They even asked if I had researched the area I was relocating to, the costs of living vs salary etc.

She did not direct any questions to my wife, they just looked at her after asking me a question as if to check her reaction. It didn't last long though, the actual interview itself went on for about 20 Mins or so. The whole process from walking through the doors took 1.5 hours and my visa was granted (currently typing this is Dallas, tx)

I would just make sure you have all the necessary documents well prepared, as you need everything ready to hand in when you arrive. just keep yourself calm along and keep in mind the 80/20 rule. Listen to the questions then answer, do not say anything you do not need to and you will be fine.

Hope it Goes well for you, good luck

My interview was three questions and she (and the kids) all got asked if they were looking forward to it. I guess it depends on the strength of application and who is backing it.
