Hello,

This thread cleared lot of my doubts regarding E3 visa. I have one doubt which I can't seem to find information about. My spouse is currently here in states on H4. Got a job offer. Currently we are looking for the earliest available appointment in Canada for first time E3. In case the stamping goes to Admin Processing, can applicant use the existing H4 to enter US till the time a decision is made on E3 application?

Thank You.

Yes. The H-4 is valid as long as your H-1B is valid. The H-1B (and H-4 by extension) remains valid until your change of status is approved.

No, I did not. I had my visa successfully stamped from OTTAWA during OCT 2014

Hi All

Had my appointment Tuesday just gone 02/24 and visa was approved. Very quick interview- the entire process on the day was 20 min.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with E3 in Calgary? This is where I had my visa appointment and there is still no update on CEAC. I've read other places on people (although H1B) having appointment yesterday and visa is already issue. The Vo advised I'd likely get my pp back in 3 days. I'm getting a little worried.

Any advice would be appreciated.

It looks like Canada is no longer an option for E3 visa (at least for now) except Ottawa if you get lucky. does anyone know if Mexico consulate process new E3 visa application?
either Tijuana or Mexico City?
I am looking to book an appointment for later March appointment.
