DV2005 Winner
I'm a DV2005 winner from Tunisia. My case number is AF00032xxx.
I sent all forms at the beginning of August 2004.
What does it mean 32xxx? 32xxx in the world or just in Africa?
In both cases I'd like to know if I have a chance to obtain the famous green card referring to my case number and the probable date of the interview.

32xxx just in Africa.

you have a low chance, because your number is high. This year Dept of State only gave out visas to people whose number was lower than 35,450.

Your number is high but it's not out-of-the-question high. By this years numbers it looks like you would have been called for an interview in August. However, that does not mean that it will fall the same way next year. Keep checking http://travel.state.gov .As soon as the interviews start you will be able to see how quickly they work their way through the numbers. Some months are quicker than others but no way of knowing for sure.
