DV-2005 winner - DS-230 confusion
Hello, I was successful in obtaining a DV-2005 selection, and now have some
forms to fill in. (DS-230 & DSP-122)
I'm wondering what to put for questions 10 & 11 on form: DS-230 Part I
available from: http://travel.state.gov/DS-0230.pdf
Q.10. Permanent address in the United States where you intend to live, if
known (street address including zip code). Include the name of a person who
currently lives there.
Q.11. Address in the United States where you want your Permanent Resident
Card (Green Card) mailed, if different from address in item #10 (include the
name of a person who currently lives there).
Can I just leave these blank for now, or will I need to specify a US address
before I arrive there to receive the green card? (I don't currently have a
US address so that is the problem).
Also, is there any information about the rest of the process I can expect to
happen, like the interview etc. I'm applying from the United Kingdom.
Thanks in advance.

Not sure if these example forms will help over at Visajourney:

These are for K marriage visa, but may help in filling the form out.

The physical green card gets mailed to you in the US. At the interview, you will have to come up with an address where they can send the Green Card to.
The interview is easy, just a review of paperwork more than anything else. Make sure your names match perfectly on all your documents i.e. passport, birth cert. police cert. etc... it will cause problems / delays if there are differences.
Good luck!

hope it helps. My parents just won and got their DV 2004 visas, there is also an excellent russian website for DV winners, but I am afraid it won't help you.

Re: DV-2005 winner - DS-230 confusion
Hi thanks for the responses everyone. I've got a friend's address I can use
now for Q.11.
For those interested I'm from the Oceania region, and have been applying for
the DV lottery for about 6 years now. So keep trying, it happens eventually!
I think the odds were slightly better this time for people with some
computer literacy as they changed the system from a mail-in to filling in an
internet form.
Now I'm just worried about whether I can manage to find all the paperwork
they'll want to see at the interview.

I believe they started sending out already in April and will finish in
June. I wonder whether they will send those who lives inside US first.
Does anyone knows how it works?

Hi, technically you can leave it blank as at the interview they will ask
you if the address is changed anyway. But I suggest you put something down.
A friend will do. My address is a work colleague in Florida. THey don't
care, as long as they can mail it somewhere.

The interview is really easy. They don't even look at half the stuff
they ask for. If you have any Q's about the interview, feel free to ask me.
