Dual US / UK Citizen - Rules for going back to UK/Eurpe to work for short time
I am a US naturalized college student (born in UK with current UK and US passports). I would like to spend next summer working in UK or France. Do I need to get a visa? Would any future employer need to get permission to employ me?
Any info or links would help
Thanks

If you're a UK citizen, with a UK passport, then no. Why would you think you would?
If you don't already, you'd need to get a National Insurance Number, essentially SSN equivalent.

Thanks for quick response.
My parents had said it was fine, but I wanted to get independent confirmation because the company who is thinking of employing me had mentioned it (they have never employed anyone in my position before).

I'm sure you will know this already, but you'll (probably) need to complete a US tax return to report your earnings while you are in Europe.
All the best, and have a good time!
